Yes. The opposite of back home. The people in this city aren't walkers. They are people who will usually keep an eye out for children. At the very least, they'll notice if someone's trying to hurt a child, and say something.
It's okay. I'll just have to remember from now on. I guess it's still kind of...habit. To try and stay away from crowded areas. But I know what you mean. I will.
